I have been working at Walmart full-time

    Pros

There are absolutely no pros. This is a horrible company to work for.

    Cons

Very low pay Store managers are slave drivers with no respect for employees Frequently scheduled in direct conflict with religious obligations with no attempts to accommodate

    Advice to Management

Store managers should be under yearly employee review. If a manager is not treating employees well then productivity decreases.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Walmart full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Overnight differential - puts you directly in line for a promotion to assistant manager, you are at a pay scale level 7, which is the highest you can get as an hourly (though a Zone Manager position would get you an extra 25 cents, because it comes with a "horrible schedule - we're sorry $2.00 / hour bonus".

    Cons

Overall the job of support manager doesn't have a lot of cons, but the work environment has many, it does change from store to store though, to date I have worked at two different stores, and the one I work for now is absolutely horrifying compared to my old store.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employee's, take their suggestions to heart, and communicate better.
