I have been working at Walmart part-time (less than an year)

Pros

Provide decent benefits as well as breaks.

Cons

Inconsistent scheduling. You may get off at 10pm and need to arrive at 6am the next morning. The pay is also not very good.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have set schedules for your employees, and increase the base pay.

I have been working at Walmart full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

If you're willing to stick around you can & do make good money

    Cons

Management of individual stores varies greatly. If you don't have a strong leader the whole team is weak. My particular location is understaffed and the associates not properly trained. Management is to focused on putting out fires instead of helping their associates do their jobs. Most new hires "life spans" are less than 6 months, hard to develop, teach, train co workers when they are constantly changing.
