    Pros

Pay is good, benefits are OK, and as long as you can be willing to work hard and do whatever is needed and understand you work for a huge company you can be successful.
Three or four days work weeks is great!

    Cons

Working for a company where you really are just a number

I have been working at Walmart full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Able to advance up the ladder quickly. Get to meet a lot of different people. Most of the time able to have fun and work at the same time.

    Cons

Some individuals able to move up because of the buddy system not because of job performance. Overtime not allowed most of the time. Annual raises do not keep up with cost of living.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It is better to struggle for a little while with less good workers than to hire everyone that comes along. It is better to take a little longer to get the job done with the right people than to get it done quickly and wrong and have to do it over.
