Their employees are worthless to them

I have been working at Walmart part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    I met some new friends

    Cons

You get paid horribly, there is almost zero chance of any sort of promotion (you get a small raise after working there for a year, after that you have to work as if you want to be a manager to get anything more), they expect hard work but there's no motivation for it due to horrible pay, bad healthcare, they don't want to work with you on a schedule if you have school or kids

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Honestly the only thing that would make walmart worthwhile is to increase pay and give better healthcare, but that's never going to happen at this rate

Work faster, safer, take shorter breaks, but don't get hurt or you'll be held accountable.

I worked at Walmart full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Every six months for 2.5 years you receive a $0.50 raise. Shift differentials also help raise your hourly wage.

    Cons

The lack of a voice to speak with allows for 11-12 hour shifts in 100+degree heat, 35 degree cold, and zero to -40 degree conditions to pass with only one 15-minute break, and one 20-minute break.
A worst-case scenario for the GM were to be if OSHA walked in unannounced for an audit of the work environment.
Signs throughout the interior of the building that read "I can't afford to get hurt." and "If you can't work safe, you can't work here."
Actual injury pictures of employees with ankles, legs, and arms in-traction posted by every In/Out Clock, but taken down just before open house.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to the suggestions of those who work by the sweat (or ice) of their brow.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
