Pros

Some stores have strong managers that make it easy to work for them. Pay and benefits are competitive with the rest of the retail field.

Cons

Would like to see pay higher for most associates. Too much micro management from executives that are never seen. Let the associates merchandise more.

Advice to Management

Let the associates and store level managers run their business more.

    Pros

They had very flexible work hours, are very cooperative with schooling, and also reliable in terms of job security even though I was only 16.

    Cons

I was often overlooked because of my young age and progression in the workplace seemed almost impossible. Also, my job title as "cart-pusher" resulted in very little respect.

    Advice to Management

Try to reward those who put forth the most effort and best results. It's very discouraging when it seems as if your work is unappreciated.
