Pros

If you need work they will happily employ you. You will feel very productive...

Cons

Until you see your paycheck. After a while you will feel used and abused.

I worked at Walmart part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent pay but only if you work on third shift and get the $2.00 extra an hour.

    Cons

Everything is filthy. The entire backroom at my store was moldy and smelled of mouse pee, especially on grocery side. Management was disrespectful towards the employees and when it came to having equipment for the job it is your responsibility to find it because all the other shifts hide the equipment. They are constantly trying to change the policies to fit their needs and so that they can get people in trouble to show home office that they are disciplining properly. It is really just a horrible place to work for.

I worked at Walmart full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Decent if you want to work there forever.

    Cons

You have to work at least 6months full time to qualify for benefits (or 1 year part time). They frequently have scheduling problems causing you to work over 40hours a week, then having them dock your hours the next week.
