Pros

full time 40 hrs. steady you don't get your hrs cut. you are considered management , for what ever thats worth. you can make a difference in some decisions. Can advance to assistant manager.

Cons

thankless impossible job, which they-upper management- expect to be done no matter what. you push and push all night long, its best if you learn to belittle and bully people- the walmart way.

Advice to Management

allot the proper amount of people to to the job. hire responsible store and assistant managers not loud mouth losers who lie and sit in their offices all day and have no idea what its like to do the various jobs in the store. don't cut everyones hrs all the time , people cant live on 24 hrs a week. fire disruptive and dangerous workers - there are more of them than you think.

    Pros

Work like balance. Good Management team with too many uneducated people in the management. Good training opportunities. Wal-mart has open door policy with a secret retaliation. Most of the management laughs at you in their mind when you complain about their colleagues.

    Cons

Walmart does not value education at all. The mentality is that we can take anyone from the street and train them to person tasks. People don't get promoted because of their hard work, rather who they know. ...not a fair place to get promotion at all. Pay more to newly hired people then long term employees.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of uneducated and high school passed managers or directors or VPs. Reward people for their contribution and talent, not who they know. If you hire mediocre people, you will get mediocre result.
