Pros

The discount is nice and there is always something to do so you can't ever complain to have nothing to do.

Cons

Even if you have assigned tasks to do, management will not think twice to make you go do something else not in your department or realm of responsibility.

Advice to Management

1) Hire enough people to cover each department. 2) If associates already have tasks to do, leave them be; it's not their fault the other department is slaking or didn't show up.

    Pros

Good benefits. Pretty good pay for this area. Good work schedules. Good people.

    Cons

Tough to make production quotas. Difficult to move forward into management at the DC levels.

    Advice to Management

Get to know some of the associates more, especially the ones that care about their jobs and want to move forward in their careers. Review the specs of the hiring process from within; don't just rely on "paperwork" such as resumes but to actually question and observe the ones who apply from within.

  2. Lots of Opportunities to Move Up

    Pros

You control your own future. With hardwork and open work schedule the possibilities are endless. Paid vacations. Benefits and lots of options to choose from. 401k and stock options. Discount

    Cons

not always staffed as well as we'd like. processes to eliminate poor workers results in a lot of unproductive time. the replenishment time on some items is a very long time. that results in out of stock which results in unhappy customers and store manager.

    Advice to Management

    Good luck!
