I have been working at Walmart

Pros

Get paid regularly. Mostly positive attitude. Benefits are all right probably right in line with all the other companies.

Cons

Not a lot of perks and deal with a lot of rude people on a regular basis. Management only sees numbers and doesn't realize that they are not everything.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay more money.

I worked at Walmart full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

i think gaining experience is one of the biggest pro's to this job

    Cons

the fact that as supervisors and managers all get their hands into each project, there is way too many Chiefs, and not enough of the rest of us to go around

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give your department leads some opportunities to make decisions, before having 5 people second guess the project before the project is even off the ground

I had low expectations, but it was not that bad.

I have been working at Walmart full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The benefits are not too bad, even part time workers can get insurance. Its a decent place to work if you just want a part time job.

    Cons

The pay is low which is no surprise. There is usually more work then your crew can finish. Usually not enough workers on duty. Many of the workers are poorly trained or just plain lazy which causes the inventory numbers to get messed up constantly. They really beat you over the head with Sam Walton propaganda.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Customers are getting fed up with the lack of service, dirty and dirty stores, and the constant outages of products. If action is not taken expect a continued decline.

    No opinion of CEO
