Spend some time with the people actually doing the work. Get their input and them guide them in the direction that the company is going.

    Pros

Very diverse product line and locations offers some internal variety, strong consumer brand, financially strong company

    Cons

Like with most major corporations - VERY political, little mentorship for future leaders, most are overworked and under appreciated, taking risks in encouraged but failure is not handled well, , change is constant and often uncoordinated, high stress, and career development is the responsibility of the employee. They are will to let people with many years of service walk without concern.

    Advice to Management

Drive work/life balance and exhibit this behavior yourselves. Working all day, then back online in the evening, and being attached to mobile devices through the weekend isn't healthy for the workforce. Help future leaders develop skills to effectively convey context, delegate, and manage people. Bring back events to express gratitude - the summer picnic, family night in the park, holiday party - are all gone.
