I worked at Walt Disney Company full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

exposure to cool business segments (ESPN, ABC, Parks and resort)

    Cons

The Seattle office (platform team for other parts of Disney) are slow in adapting the latest technologies, resulting in developers using old\out dated frameworks and utilities.

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Walt Disney Company full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You can feel honored to work in the biggest entertainment company in history. It is a quite good company to work for. Employeed are very well treated. Even though salaries are not very high compering to other companies, the benefits are pretty good.

    Cons

In local markets in pretty hard to grow. In the US and UK markets opportunities come very often, instead. Strategies are pretty much designed by the regional teams, so not much to contribute in. You can feel frustrated as a professional, if you are the kind that curiosity and some ambition.

    Advice to Management

be open to new proposals, no matter where they come from
