Pros

Warner Bros has a strong brand name and hires very talented people. The committment to the company is apparent. Many people will work long hours and stay late to do amazing work. It's a fun place to work. People love the brand and they get to stretch themselves to work on cool project. They hire very talented people and have many clubs you can be a part of like the triathlon team or Toastmasters. These groups help to build the spirit of the employees that work there. WB truly makes an effort to diversify their workforce. They try to recruit people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Cons

They do a good job of considering internal employees for advancement, but they do not spend a lot of time to developing employees. Managers see employees as being committed to their team and do not want to "give up" their employees for the growth of the business. Another downside is that WB is not very innovative. They get stuck in processes that were established a long time ago and they do not change easily. Upper level management is not focused on changing the business, instead the business is very top heavy and they could manage better by cutting out a lot of senior executives and hiring more talented lower level staff.

Advice to Management

Be more Innovative.

    Pros

Run very lean - lots of opportunity to learn how to do it all out of necessity

    Cons

Run very lean - lots of work with very little assistance or direction

    Advice to Management

Provide the necessary staff and equipment and compensation to those who do a great job and you will retain talent and achieve maximum efficiency while providing job satisfaction to the employees. By preventing the loss of valuable, knowledgeable and hardworking employees, the company will achieve maximum performance and perhaps prevent the need to lay people off or outsource jobs to places like India and Poland.

Holidays and employee additional time off is good; but company needs to have a better working environment.

    Pros

It's a large company and the benefits are good. Warner Bros is very good at offering employees additional days off (ie:Summer Fridays, if a holiday lands on a Wednesday or Thursday usually we get the rest of the week off).

    Cons

Too much overtime. Work life balance is not good enough. Also, salary is not competitive enough.

    Advice to Management

Provide a better working environment. Work life balance is important.
