Pros

Good pay for the area. Very good people at the site, enjoyable group to work with. Very dedicated hourly workforce. Very knowledgeable work force. A lot of experience at the lower levels of management and within the hourly ranks

Cons

Very poor communication at the management level. No control at the site. Micro manged from corprate headquaters. Wausau not showing commitment to the future of the otis mill. Have been setting the facility up to fail for the past 5 plus years. Do not treat employees with any respect.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start thinking through important decisions. Get feedback from site management. Focus on improving sales for site

    Pros

    Good entry level salaries and bonuses but a 3 percent raise is the best you can expect after that.

    Cons

    Ego issues, horrible communication, absence of any product control.

    More window dressing than substance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Appreciate your employees. Don't preach cost savings to hourly personnel and then spend on stripe executive trips and outings. Remember your employees aren't idiots and know how you act and treat them.
