I have been working at Wave Broadband full-time for less than a year

Pros

Get out of there !! For customers, cancel your service ! This is a company that treats employees very badly !!

Cons

True hiring and firing monthly ! Quick to do so called training classes where the trainer constantly brags and seems very uninterested in wave or his job. The reps are constantly monitored (every call is recorded). If you don't con someone into getting a service (note: the majority of customers are in collections). When customers say they cannot pay, the rep gets canned for not conning them into paying their full bill. Very very small time operation ! Stay far away !!

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Being a very small company compared to Comcast, you need to ramp up your promotions offered to Fortune 50 companies to be compettive. Also the idea of canning employees because they cannot con the called (against FCC regulations) is extremely primitive! Every consumer needs to run when they your company's name and culture.

    I have been working at Wave Broadband full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Very very few except of you are a high school dropout, you will be in good company

    Cons

    Bad examples for employees, you are forced to con callers who are in collections ( 3 months overdue ) to pay in full and then force them to signup for another service which they cannot afford. Every call is monitored, jokes made about the calls and the customer abound. Poor example of a company. Get a life, learn from Comcast !

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    You should take a tip from management at Microsoft, only the brightest who lead by example. Look at all the poor reviews of your company ( no way anyone can recommend this company even as a consumer ).

    I have been working at Wave Broadband full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    The wages are alright and benefits are good. The non managers are on the most a good hard working bunch. Friendly and easy to get along with.

    Cons

    The senior reps do everything because the management is horrible. By senior rep I mean someone that has been with the company for over one year, because the turnover is really high. The on-going joke is, bust your ass to get into management because then you get to take two plus hour lunch breaks, shop online, play games. Basically do as they say not as they do. People call us for help and we have our hands tied by very below par management.

    Fire all floor leads and lower management because they cannot find their way out of a brown paper bag.
