Pros

Can buy product at wholesale cost. Company has national recognition and a strong relationship with Cub Foods and Walmart. Working in a small company you get good experience

Cons

turnover is over 100 percent- 3 controllers in 2 years, 4 HR in 2 years, sales and purchasing is a revolving door. unprofessional culture with executive management having no respect for employees. Employees are micro managed, finger pointing is the norm, and cover yourself is the only way you can survive.

Advice to Management

if employees were treated better and allowed to do what they were hired for, imagine what the company could accomplish. The company is gaining a reputation as a place you do not want to work.

I worked at Waymouth Farms full-time

    Pros

There are no pros with this company! While there are some good people to work with, they often leave when there is a shred of hope for a new opportunity. You get paid, but then you realize that you would rather be working anywhere else for a fraction of what you're making then to deal with the daily mental and verbal abuse. People stay only because they cannot afford to leave. However, if you enjoy hearing and watching one of your fellow employees get yelled at and publicly reprimanded to the point of tears, this is the place for you!

    Cons

Appalling work culture, inhumane treatment of employees, upper management is a two-headed beast that will devour your soul and spit you out with no regard! Upper management is by title only, they have no clue how to "manage" their employees other than to inflict bullyish fear. Additional "security" cameras have been installed throughout the plant, not for food safety, but so the GM and President can sit behind their desks, watching and waiting for an opportunity to go yell at somebody. Beware, any personal messages or email communications between employees that you convey on your computer are also being monitored daily.

    Advice to Management

No advice to management, they will not change and are not capable of being accountable for the way they treat their employees. They simply don't care.
