I worked at We Energies as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Pretty decent pay, very flexible hours, the ability to take lunch when you want was pretty nice also. Still doesn't outweigh the cons though

    Cons

Basically the entire job consisted of answering trouble tickets for people in the other departments of the company. There was a general feeling in the department that nobody would even notice if we all left for a week or two.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow your employees to write programs, rather than buying them from other companies, then having to deal with all of the bugs later.

I have been working at We Energies full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

the hourly wage is ok, but raises are scarce. You a meet a lot of great co-workers.Considering the fact that it is a seasonal position they do offer some form of a health benefit, which is ok.

    Cons

Calls are critiqued VERY OFTEN. most seasonal workers are always on pins and needles because you can be fired for almost anything. You have to pay for parking. Time off is scarce.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Looking to bring out the best in each in employee is the key to great retention rates. Focus on rewards rather than punishment.
