Pros

Great friendships culminated from intern program
Wonderful networking opportunties
Lots of opportunities to see how industry works
Work with talented people and different, high-caliber accounts
Faced paced environment allows growth
Great for resume

Cons

Intern program is revolving door policy- many interns in and out
Duties can be administrative, some employees take advantage of your title
Can be difficult to set yourself apart
Job not guaranteed- many interns extended several times and not hired
Overall impersonal internship experience

    Cons

    More pay would be nice but you have the opportunity to move up fast!

    I worked at Weber Shandwick as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

    - work on a rotation basis so you're never bored
    -Intern project: tests your collaborative skills and also allows you to see how a PR plan comes together from start to finish.
    -You really feel like an assistant account executive
    -Respect
    -Dallas office has unlimited food and snacks.
    - people are great.

    Cons

    - can sometimes be stuck doing busy work.
