Websense – “Fun people to work with; Company lacks vision, strategy and competitiveness”

Pros

I had some great times working at Websense mainly due to the co-workers. The web security product is probably the best out there.

Cons

Weak leadership, lack of planning so the plans are constantly changing. Meanwhile their competitors are taking away their market share, customers and more over, being acquired by larger companies.

Advice to Senior Management

Exec Mgmt team has too much ego..unrealistic goals, lacking strong leadership. The employees have lost respect for the leadership team. They won't tell you because the job market is not that great in San Diego.
