Pros

A lot of down time, No one over your shoulder because you will be in a office by your self.

Cons

long hours, no over time, low commission, unclear and unreal goals, Poor upper management, Makes you harass people, poor training, company just opened new branches and then closed all of Ny, A real joke of a company.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to clear house with upper management and rethink their strategy. Poor marketing, No one knows this company and most offices look like a dump. Need to be realistic with values and stop praying on people who are down on their luck. volume comes with marketing. Need to reevaluate pay structure and hours of business.

    Pros

    Taught me how to rip people off...I regret every action I ever took with this job. Encourages lies to customers in what they call "the gray area". Absolutely nothing good to say

    Cons

    -Commission is a joke in comparison to other companies
    -Supervisors are basically invisible because all communication is done through computer and phone (except for your area manager who will call you at all hours of the day)
    -Training is pointless, they basically give you 3 days of presentation style lessons and expect you to be a car expert
    -They want you to rip off every single customer to purchase their car
    -Management does not care about their employees at all only cares about profit.
    -If you have a holiday day off (such as the 4th of july) you will work on your usual day off to make up the hours.
    WORST JOB EVER.

    Pros

    Plenty of free time to read the classifieds and clean your branch.
    Tow drivers are great at what they do.
    Some customers really NEED the money today

    Cons

    Total dishonesty towards customers is a core staple of this business (used cars). Have to pull the rug from underneath everyone who come to the branch needing money. AND this is encouraged by all levels of management. Not one customer gets close to the evaluation price which is profitable for the company.

    Mind set for pricing a customer is - take it or leave it and then threaten to give less if they change their minds.

    Branches are very small, tucked away and hard to find. Most are like an old photo hut type of structure.

    Working 55+ hours for low base and laughable commissions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Treat employees like people, because they are. And stop giving hurting customers down on their luck with the ridiculous underhanded pricing.
