Pros

Weight Watchers is a company with a mission to help people change their lives. The staff who interact with the members have a passion for their work that is unlike any other I have ever experienced and it makes working in the meeting very satisfying.

Cons

The pay for field staff is relatively low but the level of flexibility with your schedule is somewhat of a balance. You must work a high # of meetings in order to qualify for benefits and you are not in control of the # of meetings you are assigned. There is VERY little opportunity for advancement. In my experience the managers that are in place are average but have such a large span of responsibility it is very difficult for them to truly "manage" their staff. Instead they seem to only do crisis management. My experience with upper management was similar.

Advice to Senior Management

Improve the communication to the field. There are many communication tools but they are not really employee friendly and the employee often feels that the messages change with each new communication.
