I worked at Weir Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The facility was newer and had decent amenities.

    Cons

A revolving door of upper management. With the constant change in management initiatives never get completed. Too many "fly by night" managers flown in from all over the country and the world.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The corporate bunch in Scotland need to get their act together or I don't see much future for any division other than oil and gas.

I worked at Weir Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

decent pay and in a good city. Company published values are good one's but are not lived up to, not even close.

    Cons

Run completely by finance. No long term initiatives, necessary investments to take care of business and customers are constantly deferred. Constant leadership turnover creates a revolving door of projects and initiatives that never get completed.

Company only grows through acquisition, organic growth is non existent and continues to shrink.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Commit to improvement and stick with it regardless of quarterly results. Put the customer first and value employees.
