    I worked at WellCare

    Pros

    Some interesting, intelligent people
    Company with lots of potential
    Opportunity to self-initiate and implement personal projects
    A hard-working field team (sales, admin, etc)
    A heightened awareness of corporate ethics (since FBI raid)

    Cons

    Needs cohesive enterprise vision/strategy that guides work
    Departmental & communication silos remain due to ___? overload? lack of strategy?
    Limited investment in modern IT (e.g. no mobile tech, web-based solutions or Web 2.0...)

    Seek frontline input before implementing projects in field
    Invest more heavily in IT
    Encourage cross-department collaboration
    Invest in leadership development

    I have been working at WellCare

    Pros

    the location is okay, the facility is nice, there are some good people there.

    Cons

    management have no management skills, management have no people skills, employees face unrealistic production expectations, promotions and raises are based on whether or not your supervisor likes you that day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    cut the dead weight and ensure that supervisors have people skills
