WellPoint Employee Review
WellPoint – “Not a bad experience but it would be better if our salaries were more compatible.”
Pros
The company has been in business for a very long time and many people have retired from WellPoint. There are medical and 401k benefits so there is the opportunity to retire with a source of income other than Social Security.
Cons
We have been on years of mandatory overtime with no relief in sight. It would be nice if our hourly pay scale was comparable to other competitive insurance companies. There are thousands of working moms that could benefit from Day Care. A company of this size should offer such a service.
Advice to Senior Management
If the people in authority would forego some of there million plus bonuses, the money could be use to offer more competitve salaries and it would attract higher quality associates.

You need to learn how to balance your work life and your personal life, maybe try a job working from home, they have such positions available.
Daycare should never be the responsibility of a company ! after all they are YOUR kids !
