Cons
Project management methodology is cumbersome, changes without adequate input from the PM in the trenches, and changes are too frequent. Too much variation in the methods, templates, and techniques employed to manage a project. Too frequent organizational changes ... impossible to keep up with.
Advice to Senior Management
We really need to be more aggressive in the support for plain language, both internally and externally... especially in the project management arena. Project managers are the central contact for the nvestmenet priority work that we do. As a PM, I still see an insame amount of reports, templates, and specialized lingo in out methodology that leads to a lot of confusion and aggravation.
