I have been working at WellPoint

    Pros

    Brand recognition
    Benefits
    Plenty of internal opportunities

    Cons

    Lazy management team
Unfair treatment- schedule changes for the namesake of 'member centric" scheduling.
Poor recognition for high performing employees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Come into the office- sitting at home is useless. Work on building morale and teambuilding instead of micromanaging aux codes

I have been working at WellPoint

    Pros

Decent benefits, a lot of work @ home opportunities compared to other employers, above-average pay for the low-level jobs like CSR.

    Cons

Words can not describe how horrible the IT department is. They are completely incompetent and take an extremely long time to fix any computer or access issues. The technical support line is in India and from my experiences, they are really rude and arrogant. However, the tech support is outsourced to Dell.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I really have no advice to give because I don't think I'm at the executive-level. Bringing back the pension would be nice but it seems like no company does that anymore anyway since it is too costly for them.
