I have been working at WellPoint full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

I've worked on several different teams, in the same division, on local and enterprise management. The majority of my coworkers have been responsible, accountable and respectful.

Cons

Reorganization is constant and strategic priorities seem to change a lot.

I worked at WellPoint full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay and benefits, work at home option possible, worked with a great group of associates, good training opportunities.

    Cons

Getting the numbers up take precedence over quality member care. Was the object of a campaign to get rid of me for so-called poor production when the real reason was an error in hiring too many people for unit, and unequal distribution of work in unit.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Walk the walk of your talk re: company values and mission. There is a disconnect there that translates negatively. Recognize when you terminate a well-liked employee it has negative effects on employee perception, especially when they know your work was adequate. Do not make false promises of rehiring if you have no intention of doing so, and provide full copies of HR files when requested as you are legally obligated to.
