2) company's focus on ethics and compliance
3) commitment to providing the right care at the right time to the right patient
Cons
The company continues to struggle with merger issues associated with Anthem/Wellpoint merger and purchase of HMC as a wholly-owned sub. The techno systems are not fully integrated and and the onboarding process for new hires is not substantial or adequate. The HR department is overwhelmed and the company continues the downsizing it initiated at the time of the mergers. For those left standing, it creates a morale issue. Lots of operational chaos that is being addressed but remains problematic with regard to client retention, customer service and employee morale.
Advice to Senior Management
A number of people holding senior management positions are experts in the field but have undeveloped leadership skills------because of the lack of leadership talents, toxic behavior on behalf of certain management team members is tolerated and goes unaddressed.
