I worked at WellPoint as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

Well known company with long history

    Cons

Hired 125 people for a temp job, then fired some because they admitted to over hiring. They did not have a planned organized training program. They seemed to figuring the training structure while they went along. There were constant threats of firing employees due to the fact they feel they over hired people and there was not enough work to go around.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take the time to figure out what you are offering job wise, then hire the correct number of people to do the work.
