Pros

Management are veterans in the IT field, use tried and true methods to ensure things are done right the first time. Senior Management is starting to expand their horizons and with new IT leadership, our voices are heard on the executive board. The IT department strives to make life easier for end users, and continually focus on that goal using the newest options in technology to do so.

Cons

Co-workers tend to be closed off, unwilling to lend a hand or show how something works. IT can be click-ish, as though it's high school again. Management get caught looking long term and on a macro level and forget to give credit for hard work and good performance from employees, leading some members to believe they can do enough to not get noticed.

Advice to Senior Management

Give more credit to the employees for great work, and incentives to do well.
