I worked at Wells Fargo

Pros

Great clients and tools to help them succeed financially

Cons

Too concerned with shoving a million products a client does not need down their throats. Lost the ability to do what was best for the customer when Wells Fargo took over Wachovia. Time off became hard to get, working every other Saturday and expected to make cold calls on Saturday mornings because the branches were too slow.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to customers and employees. Morale is low and you are losing all your best and replacing with people who do not have finance or banking knowledge.

I have been working at Wells Fargo

    Pros

Free checking account. Great teller - customer relationships. For the most part, co-workers are pretty friendly, are willing to help you succeed.

    Cons

Management is HORRIBLE. From branch managers and up. And the higher you go up, the worse it is. Do not be surprised when management walks in and is condescending to everyone, some do not even aknowledge that you exist.
**Most importantly, do not forget that this is a SALES job, this is down played in the interview and hiring process, yet when you walk into the branch, you better start selling, selling, selling.
