I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Great Benefits, 401k, tuition reimbursement. You will be valued based on your performance and based no the profit that you can generate to the company

Cons

Main priority is to increase its profits. Sometimes it seems like they don't care about their workers.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Great management. I am part of management.

I worked at Wells Fargo as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

    Contractor rates are pretty good.

    Cons

They hire tons of contractors so they don't have to pay benefits, and they treat them disdainfully, as outsiders. Generally there is really bad management there, and the corporate culture of covering your butt and politics is alive and well there. Departments don't communicate, so there's no goodwill or collaboration at all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please appreciate your contractors, and please learn to share and collaborate with other departments. Upper management needs to foster a better environment there.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Insurance/ 401k / Benefits/ thats it.

    Cons

This place is a horrible place to work for. If you want to be micromanaged to the 2nd power this is the place to go. They have inexperienced banker (tellers) advising on bank products. Everybody in the branch will try and sell you something you dont need. You have to report every few hours your production even if you have a customer in front of you. There is so much more but i wont have space to complete, just know this place will break you down as a professional and as a person. Management are puppets and robots with unreasonable goals and expectations. I am not disgruntled i was successful, but this banks philosophy is as ridiculous as calling a bank product a solution. Stay away they are loosing people left and right because they are miserable.
