I would recommend Wells Fargo to my cousin Joe... I hate my cousin Joe with a deep passion.

Pros

I guess the health benefits. That's REALLY about it.

Cons

Management treats employees like they are children. Employees are put against each other as if the workplace is a battlefield. It's all about numbers numbers numbers. Do people really need 10 different accounts that have the absolute worst interest rates?

Advice to Management

Treat your employers with more respect. At least pretend they have a shred of value to the company. I work hard at my current job because my managers treat me as if I am important to the company and actually trust me.

    Pros

    Above average pay
Benefits (though they got worse just as I left - increased premium / copays and less coverage)
    Vacation time
A lot of great / fun people to work with

    Cons

    -Negative work environment.
-If you don't sell, you are a "loser." If you sell, your manager is your best friend.
-Selling isn't really "selling," just offering suggestions and taking credit if it happens to close.
-Extreme amounts of gaming to "Hit your numbers."
-Unethical business practices - Oh, you have 4 overdrafts? Looks like you need a new checking account!

This isn't an insult to Wells Fargo but a warning to prospective employees: It will make you uncomfortable if you have integrity. A job is a job, but you've been warned.

    Advice to Management

Hire true salesman. Rework your goals to be realistic. Focus on quality - not quantity. Train your employees to look for REAL solutions, not SALES solutions. Hire competent mangement / people who know how to LEAD, not threaten and intimidate.
