I worked at Wells Fargo full-time

    Pros

Competitive Pay, Competitive environment, great resume builder

    Cons

Reward/Recognition is subpar compared to peers in industry who I have worked for. You can finish #1 in the district and you might get a 1 line sentence email from AVP. Scheduling for both reps and managers changes seemly every quarter. Moral is very low with high turnover from reps and at management level including recruiting managers changing often. Employees leave feeling like they are as good as there numbers as upper management have yet to figure out how to have both high expectations and high reward. Upper management seems to enjoy using scare tactics and meaningless retention meetings just to keep their retention numbers somewhat afloat. Enjoys lots of low value meetings over a coaching atmosphere. Culture they will claim is diverse but you will quickly see by their promoting its not as diversified as advertised.

    Advice to Management

Boost your recognition as its no where near peers in the banking industry. Better call forecasting will allow for more favorable schedules for both managers and reps who are leaving because they can get more traditional hours and days off elsewhere. Lessen the red tap for employee ideas and opinions. Stop playing the blame game and scare tactics take ownership ask employees for ideas and opinions for job satisfaction. Spend less time talking about numbers and more time building deep relationships to create an emotional connection and employees will perform and stay longer and have more job satisfaction.
