I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I honestly cannot even think of ONE pro to list for this company. About the best thing I can say is that
everyone who works there understands just HOW miserable it is to work for this company, and you try to be emotionally supportive of one another

    Cons

    WOW
, where to start? Workers are treated sub human - like meat to the slaughter. Easy come, easy go. That's why there's a super high turnover - EVEN in these times. Completely ANAL. If you're ONE minute getting back from your scheduled break - you have a manager slappling their hand on your desk and screaming at you! If you wake up sick with the flue, your mother dies (no exageration) and you call in - they will write you UP! (EVERYTHING must be scheduled at least 24 hrs in advance!) zero tolerance! Everyone there comes to work even if they are sick as a dog - so everyone is constantly sick. The worst thing is how the management treats you, and the things they say to you. I could go on and on - but if you're thinking of working for this company - DON'T DO IT!
unless you love hating to go to work everyday - Love managers who love (literally) to make you miserable, love management who threaten to fire people every day (and do) etc, etc. If you LOVE micro management, you'll thrive here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Walk a mile in your employees shoes - do unto others as you'd like done unto you.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Nothing comes to mind at this time. I guess there's a lot of room for advancement if you're willing to stay because 80% of the employees quit within a year.

    Cons

Unrealistic goals. Heavy micromanagement. Up to 4 conference calls a day. Employees who cheat the system to make goals are rewarded, while honest employees are managed out. It's not even a secret. Management doesn't care about you. You're just a number to them. The pay isn't competitive. Unbelievable rate of turnover. All the good associates quit.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Shift your sales focus to quality and profitability instead of widgets. Talking someone into opening 3 extra personal checking accounts doesn't do much for your bottom line. Look up the definition of the word "integrity."
