Pros

They promote within a lot. Great benefits.

Cons

Salaries could be a little better. promoting from within, more emphasis needs to put on how the employee performs in current position and less on testing in some instances.

Advice to Management

Promote your workers on how they are performing in their current position. Give them more responsibilities and pay attention to their willingness to accomplish tasks and their performance. And promote them accordingly for being willing to go the extra mile.

    Pros

Good management with many years of experience. Pay, benefits, time off is average or slightly above average. Great team environment.
    -100% match on 401k up to 6%
-2 days off a year to volunteer at your choice of charity.
    -3 weeks vacation

Strong company with stable balance sheet.

    Cons

Software is outdated and slow. If you mind working one weekend day this may be con, but with time you will get a better schedule. You will run into people that dislike Wells Fargo and have been in there position for a long time, this is due to there lack of motivation not lack of opportunity. Brokerage side of the business may be limited but the bank has many ops. Pay may not be as well though.

-The only reason I left was op to gain additional licenses, increase in pay, and gain experience in different part of the brokerage business that isn't available at Well Fargo; at least not in UT.

    Pros

Wells Fargo and Wachovia's philosophies regarding their customers and employee were very similar. Do right by your customer, team members (employees) and partner and provide excellent customer service,

    Cons

With the current economy and legislation, opportunities are few and far between.
