I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Caring Team Members, stable company with lots of growth opportunity

    Cons

Sales Driven, Sales Pressure leads to high turnover among the teller staff

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sales should be left to the Bankers who specialize in that area. There is too much pressure on the tellers to sell which makes it difficult to provide good service and stay on top of compliance related tasks.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time

    Pros

pay is competitive, and its easy to move up fast

    Cons

no matter the market area, all employees are expected to obtain the same sales goals, which in rural areas, are unattainable. This company only cares about meeting sales numbers, and will fire anyone who does not. As a former manager, I know this for fact. Poor upper management and unreachable goals make this a horrible company to work for.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a closer look at market areas and base sales goals on that. A town of 5k people will not obtain 120 accounts per month as a city of 50k would. Get off your pedestal and actually get to know the areas in which your stores are located.
