    Pros

Average pay, management sometimes has less experience than you and you must learn to adapt to being coached or trained by people who know less than you.

Former Employee - Personal Banker I in Palmdale, CA

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of opportunities for growth. Helpful management. Excellent training program. Company cares about its employees.

    Cons

HEAVY emphasis on sales. To the point of being a bit ridiculous. Things like opening three different checking savings account packages for one customer so that you can hit your numbers. The pressure to convince them that they need those things just so you can hit your numbers is enormous.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Track incentive comp by new deposits brought in, not the number of "solutions" you can load a customer up with.
