Wells Fargo Registered Personal Banker in Las Vegas, NV:   (Current Employee)

Pros

Wells Fargo is extremely stable in an extremely shaky financial sector. If you can engage in the scandalous practices necessary to get enough "sales" to keep your job, you will definitely continue employment.

Cons

There are good sales environments: this is not one. It's dishonest, the products are inferior and often misrepresented, and overall the place discourages customer service, despite all the lipservice it is paid.

Advice to Senior Management

Get back to caring for customers, and figure out a way to weed out illegitimate sales activity to create an even playing field. Take branch traffic into account when it comes to personal goals. Bankers at slow branches have relatively easy jobs with high bonuses. Bankers at slow branches are often derided despite working extremely hard.
