Pros

Wells Fargo has a good history of taking excellent care of its employees. This includes compensation, benefits and time off. They offer excellent job stability and offer many training and promotion opportunities.

Cons

The introduction of Wachovia corporate culture is diminishing employee moral. Insurance, time off, and compensation all took a hit after the merger. Some of the value of being employed at Wells Fargo has consequently diminished.

Advice to Management

Trimming costs at the expense of employee benefits causes irreparable damage to employee fidelity and moral.

    Pros

Wells Fargo gives you a realistic look in a typical corporate job. There is plenty of structure and processes set in place (if that is your thing). Benefits are great. Great resume builder.

    Cons

My line of business has gone down hill for the past 3-5 years. Employees are treated as human capital. Attrition is horrible. Senior management has no idea of what goes on. The leadership team only cares about the bottom line, which should be their ultimate concern however not at the expense of caring about their subordinates.

    Advice to Management

I would love to see a member of Senior Management try an "entry level" community bank position for a month and see how successful they are. . . and no I am not in one of those positions. I just feel bad for them.

  2. Innovative, best for ambitious hardworking people
