Pros

technology is great. working for a large company, it is possilbe to have a long rewarding career. 401k and vacation time are generous. Salary is average for this position in the marketplace. Midpoint for a seasoned private banker 1 is 55,000. Private Banker 2 is 62,000. both have annual and quarterly bonus potential.

Cons

Sales expectations are high; bankers have a dotted line reporting to an affluent sales coach; be prepared for intense one on ones at least once or twice a month to review sales pipeline. Bankers are responsible for achieve 3 of four metrics in deposits, investments, loan, and partner referrals.

    Pros

good to great pay with opportunities for bonuses on both sales and service. great benefits including medical, paid time off, holidays, and 401k matching. locations everywhere make it easy to transfer. if you do your job well, management will work hard to get you wherever you want to be in the company.

    Cons

there really aren't many cons. obviously sales is not for everyone, but that's not included in every job title. i wish the company was a little more energy/green efficient.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing!

    Pros

Lots of resources to help achieve goals. Get used to re-orgs - 4 in the last 8 months. Decent compensation package.

    Cons

Some management is clueless (those mainly from legacy Wells Fargo). When you finally get a manager who knows the business, a re-org happens and you are back to square one and need to prove yourself all over again. This is no different from any other large multinational company.
