Pros

WF has one of the best work place environments and locations. They allow flex hours and telecommuting. Most of the people in the company are good too.

Cons

Sometime have to work during the nights. Some groups have a lot of fluff which will hopefully get reduced during the current consolidation.

  1. Tellers get to process transactions, sell to every client and balance to the penny everyday.

    Pros

No late nights. Every Sunday off. Salary is okay for retail. Clean, non-greasy environment. Potential for small bonuses based on individual sales and team customer satisfaction scores. A lot of locations and opportunity to move up in retail or transfer to another department.

    Cons

Very high pressure to sell. Bankers actually process the sales, but Tellers have sales goals. Clients are rude, ignorant and lazy and you have to smile and be nice to them. Trying to sell can distract you and leave your cash drawer out of balance at the end of the day. You do have to work some Saturdays.

    Advice to Management

I would recommend a renewed focus on Team Member Engagement. Good morale and positive environment will create increased sales and productivity.

    Pros

    Decent pay
Fun and easy couple of weeks of training and getting to know trainers and fellow trainees

    Cons

    Disrespectful management, coworkers, and customers
    Attendance system/PTO
    Health benefits
    High stress
Supes and leads tapping into your calls
Mandatory 1 year wait to transfer to another area
Inability to change shifts unless it's related to school
Difficult to meet criteria for quarterly bonuses
    Cafeteria
    Sales mentality
    Pointless ongoing training
    Weekly meetings

    Advice to Management

Stop babysitting and breathing down peoples' necks for EVERY LITTLE THING - call time, referral rate, warms - it gets to the point where it feels like harassment.
Try having policies that don't get customers angry
