I have been working at Wells Fargo part-time

Pros

Professional company. Professional training, management, time-keeping, scheduling. Treat employees great. Offer quarterly awards and benefits. Orthodontia for kids (even for part-time employees). If you're flexible to move, are motivated and work hard, you could move up in the company.

Cons

Big time sales job. I was surprised how much a teller is more of a sales person. They really try to get you to sell accounts, add accounts, credit cards, over-draft protection, etc. There are cash rewards for meeting set goals, but you are really trying to get people to sign up for something new, every customer, every time, every transaction.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

My management team was wonderful and is what made it a great place to work. Ensure the right people are in those positions as the culture from branch to branch I'm sure varies.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefits and overall compensation package (higher for technical positions) - decent training opportunities. Lot's of locations and many open entry-level positions.

    Cons

Went from being a small community based company to a banking behemoth. As a result, change is constant and high stress environments are the norm - tends to breed low employee morale as the work/home and personal ratio is seriously skewed. With such a huge company, you can feel lost in the multiple layers of process they've built around things - slows production down considerably. Senior management seems a little out of touch with people in the trenches actually doing the work.
