Good strong company, a bit to uptight with entry level employees

Pros

Steady company, decent money, chance for advancement over reasonable amount of time. I had seen examples of people without college degree make advancement into better jobs including supervision of others, apply yourself and it will work out. Set you sites on your next spot within reason and you won't be disappointed.

Cons

High stress, micro management, ambiguity in verbal management, Be careful of verbal promises from direct manager, maybe not writing of promises, but at least have anything said to you clarified, example is saying "so if I am understanding what you are saying".

Advice to Management

Give your employees enough rope to hang themselves, let the slackers weed themselves instead of treating everyone like they are under a microscope.

    Pros

Large company. Huge brand. Lots of room for development

    Cons

Large company. Huge brand. Daily sales and proxy drive. Always trying to change things to make them "easier" but in turn creates more work.

    Advice to Management

Spend a day in the branch

    Pros

Great benefits and opportunity for growth.

    Cons

Low pay and growth opportunity is only available to those who know someone.

    Advice to Management

Share the wealth! Many of the execs enjoy salary and benefit packages that go well into the 7 figures. Find a way to share some of the success of the company with those who are in lower positions.
