Approves of CEO

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Excellent people with a great mission and vision. The managers seem to really develop their team members given the opportunity.

Cons

HR is overstructured and can occasionally prevent growth. It seems that tenure is more rewarded than hardwork or knowledge.

Advice to Management

Re-evaluate the promotional and pay structures if possible.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They are very much on the side of the employee, and definitely make sure the employee is taken care of. The employees are called Team Members, and you definitely feel like one Big Team.

    Cons

Too many different departments handling different parts of the loan processing, so it is very difficult to get a loan closed in a timely manner. One loan could involve an appraisal dept, a flood dept., an insurance department, a condo dept., underwriting dept., processing dept., ect.......

    Advice to Management

There should not be 5 or more departments involved in closing one loan.

    Pros

    Great name recognition. Nice stationary.

    Cons

no oversight . Too compartmentalized. Very slow with new people.

    Advice to Management

Find ways to keep the people you hire. It takes longer than 12 weeks to bring in new clients.
