Wells Fargo – “Making your numbers honestly is difficult, Stessful, Nothing To Be Proud Of”
1 of 1 people found this helpfulPros
Pay, Expectations are Clear, Job Growth, Relocation is Possible Because of the Numerous Locations
It's good pay if you don't have a degree, it's decent pay if you're a history major, and if you have a business degree from a good college, it's insulting.
Cons
Job Security, Benefits, Ethics, Unrealistic Expectations, Work Environment
There's going to be a lot of stress and not the good stress that pushes you to do your best but the stress that any day you could loose your job.
Advice to Senior Management
If you want to encourage creativity in expanding business, give more support/ mentorship and better incentives. The incentive to keep your job when faced with unrealistic goals will only make people pull shady tricks because their job is already in danger without gaming - they have nothing to lose and something to gain by gaming .
If you make the base numbers realistic and the compensation for superior performance more lucrative people will look for ethical methods of increasing their numbers because they do have something to lose - their job- if they act unethically.
