I worked at Wells Fargo (more than an year)

Pros

It is a casual environment, small cafeteria available for employees, got a paycheck on time. Other than that I really can not think of any outstanding pros.

Cons

Employees are just that, employees. Management seems very dissatisfied with their own jobs and that dissatisfaction trickles down to the lower level employees. I found it to be just a very gloomy place to work.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Realize that your employees are people and should be treated with some respect.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Given the right branch manager and district manager, there are possibilities for advancement assuming your numbers are where they need to be (well above minimum performance).

    Cons

Often very formulaic interactions with customers, trying to find any possible way to fit every next customer into a box for one of the products at the bank.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try not to take out your frustration with your minimum performance expectations on your personal bankers and tellers. We know it's tough. But as long as we're doing our jobs well, that's what you get paid "the big bucks" for.
