I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Decent Culture, the company has been killing it and sometimes will chip in profit sharing, health insurance is affordable, if you are a middle manager you can get lost forever.

Cons

Poor comp plan, I over heard my manager say he could get a monkey to do this job.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Check in with the people that are making you all his money. The process needs a complete overhaul that cannot get done with technology alone. Break out teams to figure this out and implement in pieces. There is less than zero % accountability for execution once sales has been made. Customer Loyalty is a sham and you know it. Ask customers how they feel- they hate Well Fargo.

Terrible for the 1st three months and the last three months, the whole experience depends on the manager you get.

    Pros

The pay can be excellent when the company is in need.

    Cons

The local managers are for the most part difficult. The top management is so far removed from day to day activity that they are unconscious as to the needs of the customer. The reports are endless and ever increasing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please resign before the country has to bail the company out again.

    I worked at Wells Fargo

    Pros

Advancement can be quick, the projects can be interesting and the company attracts good people.

    Cons

The travel is extensive. The company does not support women once they have children. In fact, they start questioning a women's commitment when she is pregnant. The "don't break the chair" and "can you fit through the door" comments are not appreciated.

Exec. Management tends to play a lot of politics with one another.
