Advice to Management

Be more honest in the call center with leaders and rehire leaders and all employees in retail Customer Service if they apply. People change and go through different experiences when they leave. Leaving does not mean you are not a good fit for retail customer service. Change your mind set and give people a chance. You are missing out on good talent and what does it say about you if you will not rehire employees back.

    Decent bonuses, fun colleagues, educational

    Cons

    Bullying sales team. Pushiness to make sales quota, encouraged to lie to customers.

    Hire proper managers who will lead your associates in a positive way.

    Pros

    Unmatched capabilities to provide customer solutions. Wells Fargo has more products and service than most companies across all product groups. Awesome vision and values that makes it easy to get behind and they embrace technology. Decent benefits although they have diminished in recent years.

    Cons

    Vision is not embraced at the store level. There is rampant unethical behavior even though there are serious consequences in place. Management looks the other way most of the time. Get your numbers however you can. Those that speak up tend to be outsiders and are perceived as disengaged. Partner business groups do not meet the same service standards as the retail bank and there is a poor wealth management program in place. Only 1/10 stores has someone to talk to about investments.

    Advice to Management

    Execute on your vision and values. The aggressive sales are a major downfall. You achieve record sales ever year but rarely grow assets or households because you don't focus on relationships and follow through.
