I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Able to run your own practice while benefiting from all the firm's resources. The systems are getting better but still lagging behind other top firms. clearly a banking firm making its way to be a financial services firm.

Cons

compensation and cost cutting with resources can hamper the employees and make them feel not valued. To have a thriving organization and team it is important to not always cut corners at least not so tightly.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

technology and materials are key componets to the advisors and cost cutting here does not always benefit the bottom line

    Pros

GREAT benefits. Paid vacation is excellent. Training was amazing. We learned close to everything we would need to know on the job in training which is rare these days. Interesting job with attainable goals and good performance pay. Good motivation to improve and grow within department. Great people to work with and awesome work-life balance. Department is growing rapidly and hiring lots of new people. There is lots of room for growth and mobility. Leadership is great and management really cares about your success.

    Cons

Call center job. My role is in a call center which I knew I was signing up for, but it's simply boring. The job is generally pretty easy and not too stressful but a little monotonous and boring. It's inbound and outbound calls so you're balancing time between accepting incoming calls and working outbound cases. The outbound cases are much more interesting and fun, but they can be hard to get to, especially during busy times. Inbound calls are standard call center calls. Often angry customers having trouble spending their money and take it out on the rep. Overall, the job is great for a person starting out without much guidance but it gets tedious and monotonous often. Pay is a little low. There's differential pay for working later shifts and small differential pay for Spanish speakers as well. Overall, pay is still rather low compared to similar positions with other companies (although performance pay can make up for it).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Overall, this is a good job. The company, benefits, and vision are great and make up for the somewhat tedious nature of the specific role. The opportunities for advancement are great. Pay should be a little more but it's not terrible. Leadership/management does a good job and so far, there are no complaints.
