I have been working at Wells Fargo

    Pros

Good PTO allotment- however, the gap of 3-9 years with no PTO increase is awful!
    Good benefits
    Good incentives
    Good opportunities

    Cons

    Bad sales pitching
    Constant micromanagement
    Frustrating goals
Management varies- if your mgmt doesn't like you, you WON'T move up. EVER. Period. Seen personality conflicts ruin employment

Not a good place to work....at least in Georgia

    I worked at Wells Fargo

    Pros

The benefits such as bonuses and incentive before Wells took over Wachovia were great. Especially if you sold investments. Quality choices were available in your 401(k) and you could get a 6% match.

    Cons

Terrible upper management, clueless and not trustworthy...at least that was the standard in Georgia. A lot of backroom deals were made for certain people to get promotions when they were clearly not qualified to be the fry cook at McDonalds. When that happens you have leadership that has no business showing employees what to do or how to do it because they don't know what to do or how to do it....it was a nightmare. It felt like working for Mr. Magoo, no direction what-so-ever.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of the management that is not qualified, which is pretty much everyone above the branch level in Georgia. Hire people that are trustworthy and know what they are doing.
